GRAND TOUR AT DOLMENES & EL TORCAL OF ANTEQUERA

A World Heritage Site since 2016, the Site of “Los Dolmenes & El Torcal of Antequera” is probably the place at andalusia of great beauty and cultural interest.

Our visit begin at “Los Dolmenes” of Antequera, and after watching a documentary about the construction of the Menga Dolmen (temporarily out of service due to COVID), we will begin our walking tour of one of the most important megalithic landscapes in Europe. We will imagine the Neolithic when we enter the Dolmen of Menga, Viera and El Romeral: we will begin to reveal the secrets that they hide… who discovered it, who and how it was built, what motivation they had and the reason for its particular orientation, everything will come to appear.

After a little more than 1 hour of guided tour we will go in an exclusive tranfer -You will leave our vehicle parked in the Parking of “Los Dólmenes”- to one of the most beautiful and magical enclaves of Andalusia: El Torcal de Antequera place of the amazing karstic landscape that wraps you.

We will walk at the rhythm of the group so that you do not lose detail of the beautiful views that surrounds you at 1200 meters of altitude, taking photos non-stop and breathing the pure fresh air of the mountain in its Viewpoints, recognizing fossil remains and the fantastic ·El Tornillo”, places dreamed of with an unimaginable charm!, all the Torcal at your fingertips.

After 1 ½ hours of enjoyment, we will leave the amazing Torcal de Antequera to go on a walking City Tour on the city of Antequera, which will be the end point of this exciting experience.

We will be able to have approximately 2 hours of a guided tour in different languages ​​(Spanish, French and English) where we´ll enjoy the Spanish city with the most churches per inhabitants, its culture, art and the magnificent architectural heritage that the different civilizations have left us through there passed -cradle of several of them- and where Antikaria -Antequera in Roman- the amazing crossroads of civilizations.

This unforgettable experience will make you walk through narrow cobbled streets, dream viewpoints, monumental squares discovering secrets and curiosities at every step by the hand of the local guide who knows every corner of this jewel of the Province of Malaga… everything to discover.

• The duration of the Tour will be 4 hours approximately.
